My name is John Moyers and I'm The Agency Doc.
For more than three decades I’ve successfully started, built, managed, and scaled numerous agencies by providing vision, leadership, strategic guidance, and actionable solutions to enhance effectiveness, streamline operations, boost profitability, and foster cultures of cooperation, collaboration, and camaraderie.
I founded The Agency Doc as an advisory, consulting, and coaching practice positioned to help Advertising Agencies and In-House Marketing / Creative Services teams find effective, efficient, and practical ways to serve their external clients, and their employees, and ultimately improve the overall health, performance, and profitability of the agency.
My agency experience includes traditional brand advertising, as well as extensive experience within the retail, shopper, digital, social, event, and promotional marketing arenas.
From a category perspective, I have a broad range of experience that includes CPG, CSD, coffee/tea, alcoholic beverages, financial services, QSR, fast casual, cannabis products, and retail dispensaries.
In addition to significant experience on the agency side of the business, I’ve spent the last five years on the client side, building, and leading two in-house marketing and creative services departments - both of which were hybrid work environments that operated at extremely high levels of performance.
